Alice Gao is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto, specializing in teaching advanced undergraduate courses on artificial intelligence and machine learning. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Harvard University and completed a postdoc at the University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on computer science education, particularly time management and AI pedagogy, as well as game theory and AI-driven game simulations. She co-leads projects on AI agent design for games like Hanabi, Othello, and Gomoku, and explores academic procrastination strategies through systematic literature reviews.
