Assistant Professor Ali Unal is a Turkish-born fiction writer and educator at Central Washington University (CWU). He teaches creative writing (fiction and nonfiction), literary journal design & production (through the department's magazine Manastash), and has expressed interest in teaching speculative fiction and cinema courses. He earned his creative writing education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
