Dr. Ali Jabran is a Lecturer at the University of Aston, affiliated with the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences and the Mechanical, Biomedical & Design Engineering Department. He specializes in biomechanical engineering, medical device design, and orthopedic implant development. His work focuses on rehabilitation technologies, wearable health monitoring systems, and finite element analysis.
Education: PhD in Biomechanical Analysis of Proximal Humerus Plate from the University of Manchester (2017) and BSc from the same institution (2013).
Research interests include biomechanical analysis of orthopedic implants, smart glove systems for hand monitoring, and prosthetics. His recent work emphasizes wearable sensors for remote patient monitoring and improving myoelectric prosthesis control.
