Dr. Alfie Abdul-Rahman is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at King’s College London, affiliated with the Department of Informatics under the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from Swansea University and has prior experience as a Research Associate at the University of Oxford’s e-Research Centre and as a Research Engineer at HP Labs Bristol. Her research focuses on information visualization, human-computer interaction, and digital humanities, with notable projects like the Quill Project (Oxford) and the ViTA visualization tool for text alignment. She co-leads the RAMPVIS initiative for emergency response visualization and the 'Narrating Complexity' project on multi-actor timelines.
