Alexis Weinreb

Alexis Weinreb, PhD, is an Associate Research Scientist in the Genetics Department at Yale School of Medicine, Yale University. He holds a PhD in Neurobiology from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (2018), an MSc in Neuroscience from Université Pierre et Marie Curie Paris 6 (2014), and an MSc in Physics from ESPCI Paris (2013). His research focuses on neurobiological mechanisms in nervous system development, mitochondrial dynamics in neurons, and connectomics using Caenorhabditis elegans as a model organism. He has also contributed to interdisciplinary studies in biophysics, including flapping flight mechanics.
