Dr. Alexis P. Melnick is an Assistant Professor of Reproductive Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medical College, affiliated with the Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine (CRM). She is also an Assistant Attending Obstetrician/Gynecologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Melnick specializes in reproductive medicine, with clinical expertise in ovulation induction, in vitro fertilization (IVF), fertility preservation, oocyte donation, treatment of reproductive endocrinopathies, recurrent miscarriage, menopause, and minimally-invasive surgical techniques for endometrial and ovarian disorders. Her research focuses on preimplantation genetic screening (PGS), implantation failure, and oocyte donation.
She has been recognized with awards for clinical excellence and surgical proficiency, including the Frederick C. Holden Award and the Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Surgery Award. Dr. Melnick contributes extensively to peer-reviewed literature.
