Alexis Cordone, MD, MPH, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine. She holds board certification in Emergency Medicine and completed her residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. Her clinical training includes roles as Chief Resident (2025) and Emergency Medicine residency (2023).
Educated at the University of Connecticut, she earned an MD, MPH (with certificates in Medical Education and Disability Studies), BA in Religious Studies, and BSc in Biology. Her research focuses on health equity, emergency care access, and social determinants of health. Notable projects include improving pediatric simulation training, addressing language barriers in trauma research, and analyzing sexual assault survivor trends during the pandemic.
Dr. Cordone is an advocate for red-flag laws and gun violence prevention, authoring opinion pieces in Progressive Perspectives.
