Alexis Anagnostopoulos is an Associate Professor and Graduate Program Director in the Department of Economics at Stony Brook University. His research focuses on macroeconomic policy, taxation, international finance, and corporate finance. He holds an office in the Social and Behavioral Sciences Building and teaches courses including Intermediate Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Macroeconomics I, and Advanced Macroeconomics I. His work addresses critical issues such as tax policy design, global financial market dynamics, and multinational corporate taxation.
Research interests include the impact of tax cuts on shareholders, cross-country stock market linkages, and the role of technology in shaping tax strategies for multinational firms.
