Alexei Verkhratsky

Professor Alexei Verkhratsky, currently affiliated with The University of Manchester's Faculty of Life Sciences, is a distinguished academic in Neuroscience and Molecular Neurophysiology. He has held leadership roles, including Chairman of the Division of Neuroscience at Manchester (2002–2004) and Head of the Department of Molecular Neurophysiology in Prague (2007–2010).
