Alexandru Micu

Alexandru Micu serves as both a Scientific Researcher and PhD Student at the Institute of Applied Physics, Academy of Sciences of Moldova. He is based in office 111 of the Sergiu Rădăuțan Laboratory of Semiconductor Compound Physics, located at 5 Academiei Street in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.

His research focuses on semiconductor physics and compound semiconductors, working within an institute that houses multiple specialized laboratories including Quantum Photonics, Nanomaterials Physics and Engineering, and Materials for Photovoltaics and Photonics. The Institute of Applied Physics is actively engaged in numerous research projects funded by CSSDT, FP7, H2020, and STCU programs.
