Dr. Alexandros Giagkos is a Lecturer in Applied AI & Robotics at Aston University's College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. He is affiliated with the School of Computer Science and Digital Technologies and the Aston Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research and Application.
Research interests: His work focuses on bio-inspired network systems, multi-robot coordination algorithms, and developmental approaches to robotic learning. Applications include UAV networks and humanoid robot cognition.
Awards: Recognized with multiple honors including Distinguished Poster Award (ICDL-EPIROB 2016) and Best Paper Award (TAROS 2015).
