Alexandros G. Maridakis

Alexandros G. Maridakis is a Laboratory Teaching Staff Member (EDIP), 1st Level at the University of Crete, specifically within the Department of History and Archaeology of the School of Philosophy. He has served in this role since 2003 and holds an MSc/MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras, along with postgraduate training in Informatics Teaching.

Maridakis specializes in digital skills development and technology integration within humanities education. He has systematically worked on establishing and upgrading Digital Skills laboratories that serve students of the Department of History and Archaeology.
