Recent publications (2018-2023) from studies like iNPHORM (US) and InHypo-DM (Canada) emphasize severe hypoglycemia incidence, risk prediction modeling, and pandemic impacts on diabetes care, contributing to clinical guidelines such as the American Diabetes Association's Standards of Care.
Scientific recognition includes:
- Rising Star Award from the International Diabetes Center (2023)
As Director of the Hypoglycemia Research Program, she leads international collaborations including the large-scale iNPHORM study, which is America's largest prospective investigation on hypoglycemia risk, and serves on advisory boards like the International Hypoglycaemia Study Group.
