Dr Alexandra Sandu is a Lecturer in Human Geography at Cardiff University’s School of Geography and Planning. She specializes in urban and regional resilience, post-socialist urban dynamics in Central and Eastern Europe, socio-economic inequalities, and GIS applications in spatial analysis. Her research integrates quantitative methodologies and addresses topics ranging from land-use patterns to educational disparities in Wales.
