Prof. Dr. Alexandra Niessen-Ruenzi holds the Chair of Corporate Governance at the University of Mannheim Business School and serves as Academic Director of the Berlin Centre of Corporate Governance (BCCG). She is also a Research Fellow at the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI). Her work focuses on empirical capital market research, particularly gender differences in financial decision-making, corporate governance, and asset management.
