Alexandra Mullock is a Senior Lecturer in Medical Law at the School of Law, with a focus on ethically contentious healthcare issues. She earned her PhD at Manchester (2008-2011) as part of an AHRC project analyzing the impact of criminal law on healthcare ethics.

Research Interests: End-of-Life Law, criminal regulation of healthcare professionals, legitimacy of medical interventions, and cosmetic surgery ethics. Her work intersects with SDGs related to health and well-being.
Recent Publications: Exploring assisted dying frameworks, prosecution policies in mercy killings, cryopreservation legality, and historical medical jurisprudence. Collaborated on The Legitimacy of Medical Treatment and Pioneering Healthcare Law (both Routledge 2015).
Collaborations: Active in UK-focused research on assisted suicide, criminal law in healthcare, and conscientious objection. Affiliated with the Healthier Futures Research Beacon.
