Alexandra Hofmann

Alexandra Hofmann serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Human Resources Management within the Department of Economics at Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences, teaching Coaching & Social Skills and Integrated Soft Skills courses since 2021.

Her academic foundation includes a 2013 Diploma in Psychology from Philipps University of Marburg with specializations in Work and Organizational Psychology (Prof. Dr. Renate Rau), Differential Psychology, Clinical Psychology, and Psychological Diagnostics. Professional expertise derives from 2013-2022 roles as Head of People & Culture and HR Specialist across German and Asian startups and corporations.

Research interests focus on Organizational Psychology and Human Resources Management, emphasizing practical coaching methodologies and soft skills development for professional contexts. Her work bridges academic theory with real-world HR applications through teaching and consulting engagements.

As an active member of the Human Resources Management team, she contributes to curriculum development and student mentorship within THM's economics programs, maintaining direct industry connections from her corporate background.
