Alexandra Drakaki

Dr. Alexandra Drakaki is an Associate Professor of Hematology/Oncology and Urology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She specializes in Genitourinary cancers including Bladder, Kidney, Prostate and Testicular cancers. As a physician-scientist, she maintains active clinical practice at Santa Monica Cancer Care and Westwood Urology while leading important cancer research initiatives.

Her work also investigates drug-related toxicity mechanisms with the goal of developing medication combinations that prevent or reverse toxicity without compromising cancer treatment efficacy. She is part of Dr. Slamon's Translational Oncology Research Laboratory, where researchers develop breakthrough cancer treatments using novel technologies.
