Dr. Alexander Scheerer is an Adjunct Professor at the Business School of the University of Mannheim and serves as an Enterprise Agile Coach at SAP SE. He holds a doctorate in economics (Dr. rer. pol) and has contributed to research on large-scale lean and agile software product development, inter-team dependencies, and process-theoretical views of coordination.
His work focuses on:
- Large-scale agile software development
- Lean methodologies in enterprise settings
- Inter-team coordination in hybrid development environments
Dr. Scheerer’s research projects include collaborations with SAP Development and SAP Research under the Lean Research project and the Software Cluster SWINNG (Software Innovations for the Digital Enterprise). He earned his Diplom in Business Informatics (Dipl. Wirtsch.-Inf.) in 2011 and completed his doctoral degree at the University of Mannheim in 2015.
