Alexander Passer

Alexander Passer is a Professor at Technische Universität Graz, specializing in Sustainable Construction and Environmental Engineering. He leads the Sustainable Construction Group (Arbeitsgruppe Nachhaltiges Bauen) and holds roles in the Management Board of CCCA, the Sustainability Advisory Board at TU Graz, and as Subject Editor for The International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment.

Education: Holds a Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.-Ing.), Doctor of Technical Sciences (Dr.techn.), and MSc degrees. His research focuses on life cycle assessment (LCA) of buildings, carbon footprint reduction strategies, and sustainable procurement practices. He has pioneered open-source models like PULSE-AT for building stock analysis and contributed to international frameworks such as IEA EBC Annex 72.
