Alexander Martin (she/her) is an Assistant Professor and Gallery Director at Eureka University. Their interdisciplinary practice bridges oral/embodied traditions of Black, Trans, and Queer Appalachian communities with academic/artistic spaces through mixed media, performance, and education, aiming to expand canonical representations of marginalized cultures.

Research focuses on queer intimacy, sacred symbolism, and creating alternative languages/scripts to preserve hidden histories.
