Dr Alexander Kovalenkov is an Associate Professor of Economics at the University of Glasgow's Business School. He joined in 2005 after roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1998–2005) and visiting positions at Caltech, NYU, Warwick, and Washington University. His research focuses on microeconomics, game theory, mechanism design, asset pricing, and general equilibrium. Kovalenkov holds degrees from St Petersburg State University and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
