Alexander Hunt

Alexander Hunt is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department at Portland State University's Maseeh College of Engineering & Computer Science. His research focuses on biologically inspired robotics, computational neuroscience, and adaptive control systems.

• Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University
• Specializes in Robotics, Neural Control of Behavior, and Additive Manufacturing

Dr. Hunt's work applies principles of biological adaptability to robotics through his Agile and Adaptive Robotics Lab. His teaching includes courses on vibrations, mechatronics, and robotics fundamentals.
