Alexander Haimovich is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). He received his Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989 and joined NJIT in 1992. His leadership roles include directing the New Jersey Center for Wireless Telecommunications and serving as a visiting fellow at Princeton University. He holds the Ying Wu Endowed Chair and is a Fellow of the IEEE.
