Alexander Groisman

Alexander Groisman is Professor of Physics at UC San Diego, pioneering microfluidic technologies for biological research. His lab develops devices for studying protein dynamics, cellular biomechanics, and microbial behavior under controlled microenvironments.

Research includes quantitative microscopy of cell adhesion, oxygen gradient systems for hypoxia studies, and gene gun technologies for targeted delivery. Applications range from neutrophil rolling mechanisms to environmental microbiology.
