Prof. Alexander Grigor'yan is a Professor of Mathematics at the Fakultät für Mathematik, Universität Bielefeld. His research focuses on Geometric Analysis, Riemannian manifolds, graphs, and metric spaces. He has organized numerous conferences and led the research seminar "Geometric Analysis."
His teaching spans undergraduate and graduate courses including Analysis on manifolds, Partial Differential Equations, Functional Analysis, and Measure Theory. Notable courses include Analysis II (WS 2024/25), Elliptic PDEs (SS 2024), and lectures on path homology theory at institutions like Tsinghua University and Nankai University.
He has been invited to speak globally, including at CUHK, Tsinghua, and Steklov Math Institute. His work integrates geometric analysis with stochastic processes and differential equations.
