Alexander Frey serves as a Professor in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences (Technische Hochschule Augsburg), where he holds significant academic and administrative responsibilities. He is a Member of the Faculty Council and chairs multiple Examination Boards for engineering programs including Electrical Engineering (M.Eng.), Mechatronic Engineering (M.Eng.), and the phasing-out Mechatronic Systems (M.Eng.) program.
His academic expertise spans several critical areas of electrical engineering:
- Numerical Simulation techniques
- Circuit Engineering principles
- Electronic Components design
- Measurement Technology applications
- Physics foundations for electrical engineering
Professor Frey teaches core electrical engineering curriculum including Components and Circuit Engineering 1 & 2 across semesters, Measurement Technology, and supervises practical coursework in Electrical Engineering fundamentals.
