Alexander Dinges is a Lecturer at the Institute of Philosophy, Freie Universität Berlin, currently funded by the Heisenberg Programme. His research focuses on Epistemology, Philosophy of Language, and Philosophy of Mind, with specific interests in knowledge, belief, subjective language, speech acts, and indirect communication. He leads the project Norms and Nature of Acceptance and previously coordinated the scientific network Semantics and Meta-Semantics of Context-Sensitivity.
Before his current role, Dinges held academic positions at Humboldt University Berlin, Universität Hamburg, FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, and HHU Düsseldorf.
