Alexander Bucksch is an Associate Professor in the School of Plant Sciences at the University of Arizona, part of the College of Agriculture, Life & Environmental Sciences. His research focuses on root phenomics, combining computational imaging and geometric/topological analysis to study plant development and environmental interactions. He develops innovative tools like the DIRT platform for root trait analysis and collaborates on cyberinfrastructure projects such as CyVerse.
