Her research explores historical narratives of resistance during US occupations in the Caribbean, transnational education policies, and racial migrations. Publications span topics like Puerto Rican diaspora, Dominican-US relations, and Afro-descendant communities, often emphasizing critical pedagogy and decolonial frameworks.
Recent articles analyze the 1916 US occupation of the Dominican Republic, post-WWII Caribbean migration, and 16th-century Afro-indigenous rebellions. While no scientific awards are listed, her work contributes to debates on imperial education and community agency.
