Alexa Cook

Alexa Cook is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Arizona and Assistant Director of Fieldwork for the University of Arizona Genetic Counseling Graduate Program (UAGCGP). As a board-certified genetic counselor, she splits clinical time between oncology and general adult genetics at Banner Health.

She mentors students through clinical supervision, lectures, and leadership in the Arizona Genetics Alliance. Her professional focus integrates clinical practice with educational program development.
