Alex de Carvalho

Alex de Carvalho is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Université de Paris, affiliated with the Laboratoire de Psychologie du Développement et de l'Éducation de l'Enfant (LaPsyDÉ). He holds a PhD in Cognitive Sciences from École normale supérieure, PSL University (2017) and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania with John Trueswell. His research focuses on language acquisition, syntax development, and cognitive mechanisms in children.

Teaching: Leads courses on developmental psychology, language acquisition, and research methods at Université de Paris and École Normale Supérieure. Supervises graduate and undergraduate students in experimental research.
