Alex Worsnip is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) and former Faculty Fellow at NYU. He holds a B.Phil from Oxford (2010) and a Ph.D. from Yale (2015). His research focuses on structural rationality, epistemology, and applied political epistemology, particularly addressing issues like media bias, expert deference, and democratic citizenship obligations. He leads the Applied Epistemology Project at UNC and co-organizes the annual Chapel Hill Normativity Workshop. Key works include his monograph *Fitting Things Together* (2021), which explores coherence and rationality demands, and articles on epistemic responsibility in media consumption. Awards include the 2019 Young Epistemologist Prize. His work bridges theoretical philosophy with practical implications, addressing contemporary challenges in belief formation and democratic discourse.
