Professor Alex Stevens is a Chair in Criminology at the School of Law, University of Sheffield, focusing on the intersection of drugs, crime, and public health. His work emphasizes policy analysis, harm reduction, and collaborative research with policymakers and affected communities. He is also a trustee of Harm Reduction International and the Criminal Justice Alliance, and former President of the International Society for the Study of Drug Policy.
