Alex Schouvaloff

Alex Schouvaloff is a Lecturer at the School of Art, Architecture and Design at London Metropolitan University. He specializes in restoration and conservation practice, with particular expertise in surface finishes, lacquerwork, japanning, and fine inlay. As a private conservator, he operates his own practice and contributes to professional discourse as the committee editor of the ICON Gilding & Decorative Surface Group.
