Alex Mierke-Zatwarnicki

Dr. Alex Mierke-Zatwarnicki is a Visiting Researcher at the Center for Civil Society Research, WZB Berlin Social Science Center. She is currently a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence and will join Stanford University's Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law as a Postdoctoral Fellow in September 2025. She received her Ph.D. in Government from Harvard University in 2023.
