Alex Hubert holds the Canada Research Chair in Urban Heritage at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM). He is a museologist at the Arvida History Centre and Sir William Price History Centre in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, focusing on collective identities in Quebec's regional contexts, industrial heritage, and the history of company towns.
