Professor Alex Goody is a distinguished academic at Oxford Brookes University, where she holds the position of Professor of Twentieth-Century Literature and Culture in the School of Education, Humanities and Languages. She is actively involved in teaching modern and contemporary literature, American literature, media, and digital culture, and currently serves as the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead (Academic) for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Her educational background includes a BA from the University of York and an MA and PhD from the University of Leeds, where her doctoral research focused on 'Mina Loy’s Modernist Aesthetic.' Her academic journey has spanned institutions including Falmouth University and Oxford Brookes University.
