Alex Gilbert

Alex Gilbert is a Lecturer at Johns Hopkins University, focusing on energy policy, environmental studies, and GIS. He serves as Director of Space and Planetary Regulation at Zeno Power and is a non-resident Fellow at the Payne Institute, Colorado School of Mines.

• Education: Master of Energy Regulation and Law and Certificate in Climate Law from Vermont Law School

His research examines governance and market design for energy, nuclear, and space technologies, with emphasis on energy markets, climate governance, and regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies. He has published in Nature Climate Change, Energy, and Energy Policy, and contributes op-eds to trade literature.
