Alessandro Veneri

Alessandro Veneri is a PhD student (3rd year) and Researcher in the Department of Economics at the European University Institute (EUI). His research focuses on applied theory in Industrial Organization (IO) under the supervision of Professors Özlem Bedre-Defolie and Giacomo Calzolari. He is also a Future Impact Group Fellow for the project 'Differentiable Progress On Cooperative AI' led by Lewis Hammond.

He holds a cohort affiliation with EUI's 2022 intake and maintains an active presence through his personal website (sites.google.com/view/alessandro-veneri). His work intersects artificial intelligence, competition policy, and digital market dynamics, reflecting his supervisors' research emphases on AI's impact in markets and regulatory frameworks.
