معرفی
Alessandro Grecucci is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science at the University of Trento, with additional affiliation at the Centre for Medical Sciences (CISMED). His research integrates clinical neuroscience, machine learning, and neuroimaging to understand the neural mechanisms of emotion regulation and personality disorders.
His primary research examines:
- Neural substrates of borderline and obsessive-compulsive personality disorders
- Machine learning approaches to psychiatric classification
- Brain mechanisms of emotion regulation strategies
- Neurodevelopmental aspects of psychopathology
- Multimodal neuroimaging fusion techniques
Grecucci's recent publications demonstrate a strong focus on developing neuropredictive models of psychopathology using structural and functional MRI data. His work characterizes brain network alterations across psychiatric conditions including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders, with particular attention to adolescent populations.
He teaches advanced courses on affective neuroscience, clinical neuropsychology, and machine learning applications in neuroscience, including 'Cognitive Neuroscience and Neurotechnology' and 'Neuroscienze affettive e cliniche'.
