Alessandro Carlucci is a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford specializing in historical linguistics and sociolinguistics. His research examines multilingualism, language contact, and the evolution of Italian, with particular focus on Tuscan dialectology and Gramsci's linguistic theories. Major contributions include analyses of intercomprehension in medieval Italy and English influences on modern Italian.
