Dr. Alessandro Blasimme is a Lecturer in the Department of Health Sciences and Technology at ETH Zurich, specializing in bioethics and science policy. His work focuses on ethical challenges in digital health, artificial intelligence in medicine, precision oncology, and dementia prevention strategies. He serves as a tutor for MSc programs in Medical Technology, Human Health, Neurosciences, and Rehabilitation at ETH Zurich.
Research interests include the ethical implications of emerging technologies such as AI, synthetic biology, and wearable health devices. He explores governance frameworks for big data in healthcare, clinical translation challenges, and global health equity.
