Alessandro Adamou

Alessandro Adamou is a Digital Humanities Scientist at the Bibliotheca Hertziana - Max Planck Institute for Art History. His expertise spans Semantic Web technologies, knowledge graph development, and intangible cultural heritage modeling. He leads the 'Linked Data Infrastructure for Cognitive Computing' project and has held research positions at Insight SFI Research Centre, The Open University, and Italy's National Research Council.

Research Focus: Develops computational methods for representing fuzzy cultural concepts, optimizing ontology networks, and integrating linked data in humanities research. Applications include modeling musical traditions, reading experiences, and art historical evidence.
