Alessandra Teresa Cignarella is a Senior Researcher at Ghent University, focusing on Natural Language Processing (NLP). She is funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (2024-2026) for her project RAINBOW, which researches stereotypes towards the LGBTQIA+ community using multilingual NLP. Previously (2021-2023), she was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Turin in the STERHEOTYPES project, analyzing racial hoaxes in Mediterranean Europe.
