Alessandra Bonfiglioli is a Professor of Economics at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), serving as Director of Graduate Studies at the School of Economics and Finance since 2018. She holds affiliations as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) and an Affiliated Professor at the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (GSE). She previously served as an Assistant Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Research Fellow at the Institute for Economic Analysis (CSIC) in Barcelona. Her PhD in Economics was awarded by Stockholm University in 2005.
Her research focuses on international trade, growth, income inequality, political economy, and financial economics.
