Alesha Baker is an Associate Professor at Northeastern State University's Department of Educational Leadership and Chair of the Library Media and Information Technology program. With a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Oklahoma State University and extensive PK-12 experience including elementary school librarianship, her work bridges academic leadership and practical educational innovation.

Publications examine OER adoption strategies, open pedagogy frameworks, and collaborative educational models across 15 peer-reviewed articles from 2016-2023. Topics include distance learning challenges, grassroots OER movements, and institutional support for open education.
Dr. Baker actively shares her findings at international conferences and contributes to shaping educational practices through her research on technology-enhanced learning environments and teacher development programs.
