Dr. Alena Audzeyeva is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at Keele Business School, Keele University. She holds a PhD and MBA in Finance from the University of Leeds, alongside degrees in Physics and Economic Cybernetics from Belarusian State University. Prior to academia, she worked in banking roles including trader in government bonds and head of securities market operations. Her research focuses on fixed income markets, credit derivatives, and macroeconomic forecasting using machine learning. She advises doctoral students on topics like cryptocurrency markets and long-term care funding. Awards include the ESRC/EPSRC KTP Award (2011) and Chevening Scholarship (2000).
