Aleksy Tarasenko-Struc is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Seton Hall University, with a secondary appointment in the School of Health and Medical Sciences. He directs the Medical Humanities Program and focuses on bioethics, social philosophy, and the moral dimensions of dehumanization and clinical paternalism. His research explores the ethics of medical practices such as force-feeding in anorexia nervosa and the moral justification of paternalistic interventions.
