Aleksandra Vasilj is a full professor at the Faculty of Law, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, specializing in Transportation Law, Maritime Law, and Environmental Law. Active since 1997, she holds a PhD in Law (2004) and has served in progressively senior academic roles, including Associate Professor (2011–2019) and Full Professor (2019–present).
Her research focuses on legal frameworks for transport systems, EU harmonization, sustainable development, and passenger rights. Notable works include studies on sea kayaking regulation, post-pandemic air/rail transport, and disability mobility rights.
